I swear, every time I walk into the supermarket for “just bread,” I come out with at least one chaotic impulse buy. This time it was bubblegum syrup — neon, nostalgic, and absolutely begging to be tipped straight into the Ninja slushie maker.
And look… the moment I tasted it, I knew I had made something dangerous.
This is the kind of sweet, creamy, over-the-top dessert drink that sends the teens running into the kitchen asking, “Wait, what’s THAT?” and suddenly everyone wants a glass. Including the adults.
It’s part milkshake, part icy slushie, part childhood carnival ride — and honestly, it’s ridiculous in the best way.
I have to give a shout out to my all time favorite slushie cup these Margarita double wall tumblers are perfect for all cocktail types. I was gifted a pair of these for Christmas and I am in Love and use mine every slushie mix!
If you’ve got a Ninja Creami, Ninja Slushie Maker, or even just a standard Ninja blender, this one is for you.
Ingredients I Used
All the naughty, creamy goodness:
– 2 cups full-cream milk
– 1/2 tin condensed milk
– 1/4 cup thickened cream
– 1/4 cup bubblegum syrup
(Add more if you like it intensely sweet — I won’t judge.)
This mix gives you that perfect blend of creamy richness + icy slush texture. No watery disappointment here.
How to Make the Bubblegum Milkshake Slushie
This is one of those recipes where the Ninja basically does everything for you. Bless it.
1. Chill your ingredients
You’ll get a thicker, frostier slush if everything is straight from the fridge.
2. Add everything to the Ninja
Milk, condensed milk, cream, syrup — tip the lot in.
3. Add ice
Start with 1 to 1½ cups ice, depending on how thick you like it.
4. Hit the Slush or Icy Drink button
If you’re using a regular blender, blend in short bursts until it goes from liquid ? slurpable ? thick ice-cream-shop slush.
5. Taste test
More syrup?
More ice?
More “this is wildly sweet but I love it”?
Adjust to your heart’s chaos.
What It Tastes Like
Imagine the milkshake you begged your mum for at the corner shop in 1998… now imagine it colder, thicker, and slightly more unhinged.
It’s creamy, nostalgic, borderline ridiculous — and genuinely addictive. Perfect for:
– movie nights
– after-school treats (if you’re feeling generous)
– Saturday afternoon “mum needs a moment” drinks
– pink-themed parties
– or simply because you spotted something fun at Woolies and the universe said do it
Make It Extra Fun
If you want to go fully overboard, try:
– topping with whipped cream
– adding sprinkles
– drizzling more syrup down the sides
– adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream
– freezing the mix into cubes and re-blending later
My kids declared this “the best Ninja thing you’ve ever made,” which honestly is saying something.
