How to Color on Kraft Cardstock with Alcohol Markers for a Halloween Card – Card Making
This darling Halloween card features a witchy bunny and wizardly cat casting up some spells using Kraft cardstock to stamp and color on. Light to medium tan cardstock is often called Kraft colored but can go by different names with slightly different shades but no matter what you call it or the tone you use it’s a fun alternative to stamp and color on other than traditional white or cream papers. I usually use colored pencils on Kraft cardstock but on this adorable Halloween card Amy R. used her alcohol based OLO Markers and the results are fantastic, it really gives a more rich and rustic look. She also used a white colored pencil and white gel pen to add highlights to the adorable stamped images from Simon Says Stamp. The images are on a purple inked and splattered die cut arch on a diamond pattern stamped card base tied with purple bakers twine along with a heat embossed sentiment.
