Alberto’s coloring is out of this world, he blows me away with his skills using alcohol markers! On his page you’ll find a mix of cute, whimsical designs and lovely nature inspired ideas with very detailed coloring. This dark background delivers a big punch with brightly colored flowers in ombre’ patterns.

Have you noticed over the last few years that many crafters and crafting companies have closed or stop using their blogs? As a blogger this makes me so sad, I love a detailed article on how something was created or how to use a new product or technique but I also know how much time and effort goes into blogging so I can see why many have moved away from it to other platforms and types of social media that might be quicker and easier to post on. It used to be blogs were the only places to go to learn about new product releases or to get fresh crafty inspiration but since so many are gone where can you go for new info, other than here at Craft Gossip of course, where we continue to share all that info with you daily :). One of my favorite places to go is Instagram. Most card makers and companies have Instagram accounts and it’s a great place to learn about new products and check out lots of ideas and inspiration in a glance. So I thought I’d try something new and share with you some of my favorite card maker Instagram accounts, these individuals work with a variety of paper crafting companies and will share new products and of course lots of card ideas and inspiration. I’m linking to their accounts and showing a new card sample from them that I find inspiring, click on their highlighted name to go directly to their Insta page. Also leave me a comment, I personally know blogs still have a place and many, like us, will still be here for the long haul to share our joy of crafting but I’d love to know how you feel about so many blogs closing, let’s talk about it. And in the meantime be sure to check out the Craft Gossip Instagram page.

I think of Gina K. as the queen of clean cards, stark white backgrounds allow the focus images to really pop with pretty florals like on this wonderful spotlight style card. She has her own line of products with stamps, dies and dry embossing with a focus on florals and nature.

Yana has a fresh perspective on design, putting things together in a way I would just never think of. This cool soda can card uses the same can top die as a base 4 different times but she decorated the front of each can and changed up the colors of the can and what’s sticking out in a different way but all on the same card in a grid design, so clever!

Amy R. is one of those card makers that can easily switch up her style, you’re just as likely to find cute, fanciful or elegant designs from her. She also gives lots of thought to her backgrounds, using different techniques to make the background just as cool as what’s she used in the foreground.

Laura is a master of bold, graphic designs, using lots of basic shapes and stand out fonts on colorful designs. She’s got such a knack for color combination and she knows the sentiment is sometime the most important element on a card.

Mellisa’s card usually have a touch of rustic, vintage or old fashioned charm with softer colors but just a touch of hardness to achieve the perfect hard and soft balance. This card is the ideal example with pretty flowers, a quilt inspired pattern paper die cut star on a woodgrain background.
